Jungle Park

With tickets available from the Royal Park Albatros reception andjust 20 minutes from the Resort,Jungle Park is a superb day out. Bird lovers will be drawn to the Bird of Prey Show where you can watch majestic eagles and falcons in free flight or perhaps the Exotic Bird Show offering a multicoloured explosion of feathers in the shape of talking parrots, macaws and hornbills. Several big cats have their home at Jungle Park with two endangered white lions from South Africa joining the leopards, jaguars, tigers and pumas.

Mount Teide National Park

A lunar landscape of volcanic ash and rock formations, the Park is also home to Spain’s highest peak standing at 12,200ft. A cable car will take you to the peak of Mount Teide where the views are quite breath-taking. Mount Teide has also become a popular night-time attraction, watch nightfall on the mountain with an experienced astronomer on hand to guide you and the map of millions of stars literally appears before your eyes - an amazing and humbling display.
